Original Typewriter Artwork Now Available for September
Be among the first to see four original artworks from my upcoming book, Authors in Type, before they go public.

Authors in Type, 2026.
Dear newsletter subscribers,
I hope your September is off to a wonderful start. I’ve been very busy typing new artworks already. I am thrilled to share five new original typewriter portraits. The are available on the online shop right now and you are the first to know!
As many of you know, my upcoming book Authors in Type has been a labour of love for several years. This collection celebrates 50 writers from across history and today through typewritten portraits. I’m excited to announce that the book will be published by Barnes & Noble, with a global release set for 2026.

A sneaky peek of what’s inside!
Now, I’m offering early access to four original artworks that will be featured in the book. These pieces are not yet listed on my website and can only be accessed via the links below. Each artwork is A4 (29.7cm x 21cm) in size and comes with a hand-signed and typed Certificate of Authenticity.
Let me introduce you to the four authors portraits now available:
Plato
The ancient Greek philosopher whose ideas laid the foundations of Western thought. A student of Socrates and teacher to Aristotle, his writings explore justice, knowledge, and the nature of reality.
Virginia Woolf
A towering figure in modernist literature and a voice ahead of her time. Through novels like Mrs Dalloway and To the Lighthouse, she reshaped narrative form and gave lyrical depth to the inner lives of her characters.
A trailblazing African American writer, poet, and abolitionist. Born free in 1825, she used her voice and pen to campaign for the end of slavery, racial justice, and women’s rights.
George Eliot
The pen name of Mary Ann Evans, one of the most important novelists of the Victorian era. Writing under a male pseudonym to ensure her work was taken seriously, she produced novels rich in insight, social commentary, and humanity.
Each original takes a full week to type; line by line, keystroke by keystroke using my vintage typewriters (as seen above) With 50 portraits in total, this book represents nearly a year of continuous typing, squeezed in between many other projects. I’m almost at the finish line; just five more portraits to go!
Thank you for following this journey with me. Your support means the world and makes projects like Authors in Type possible. More updates coming soon!
Warm regards,
