New York Typewriter Prints Are Now Live!
Don’t miss this NYC-inspired typewriter release!
Early Access for Evening in Times Square
Last week, I asked you amazing people to head over to Instagram and show some love for my Times Square piece. Well, you certainly did! I’m truly grateful. If you missed it, that video has become my most viewed post of the year, reaching over 20 million views and racking up 1.5 million likes around the world. Absolutely incredible, thank you.

This is a limited edition release. Since the video went live last week, over 3,500 new people have signed up to the newsletter for early access. Be quick while prints are still available.
Today at 1:30pm, I’m sharing a follow-up video that dives deeper into the artwork, revealing some of the hidden messages and easter eggs typed into the scene.
Typed to the Beat: The Secret Soundtrack Behind the Art
One unexpected moment from the comments section was the number of people who thought the rhythm of the typewriter sounded like a song. Many guessed Boney M.'s Rasputin, and they’re not far off…
I often work while listening to music, and sometimes my typing naturally syncs with the beat. In today’s video, I reveal the actual track that inspired the rhythm of this piece. It may surprise you.
Please give it a watch (here @jamescookartwork), like or comment if you enjoy it, and help keep it visible to others who follow my work. All your engagement with my artwork helps me so much and I truly appreciate it.

Sneaky Peek of Next Weeks Artwork
One special announcement! On Wednesday 2nd July at 12:00 midday (UK time), my collaboration with André Rieu will be released as a limited edition print.
Last year, I was invited by André to create a typewriter artwork live during his hometown concert in Maastricht. The piece captures the iconic Vrijthof Square, the setting for his legendary open-air performances.
If you missed the collaboration, you can watch the full video over on my Instagram: @jamescookartwork
It was a real honour to present the finished piece to André on the steps of the Théâtre du Vrijthof, just moments before he led his orchestra through the square to begin the concert. A memory I will never forget.
This new edition is filled with hidden typed messages that celebrate André’s concerts and the world-famous Johann Strauss Orchestra. Set your reminders; the print will be available next week to coincide with another collaboration video with André Rieu’s Instagram.
Until next time,
