New York Central Park Typewriter Prints Are Now Live

Winner announcement and new artwork reveal!

Evening in Central Park Prints Now Live

Early access to my Central Park print is finally here! I am very proud to present my latest typed scene depicting ice skating at Central Park’s iconic Wollman Rink; one of the most iconic corners of New York city.

Last week, I asked you amazing people to head over to Instagram and show some love for my Central Park video which I had announced on my Instagram. Well, you certainly did! I’m truly grateful. If you missed it, that now video has over 160,000 likes and 3 MILLION VIEWS. Absolutely incredible, thank you so much!

This is a limited edition release. Since the video went live last week, over 1,000 new people have signed up to the newsletter for early access. Be quick while prints are still available.

Evening in Central Park is my second night-time scene and one of my most colourful yet, following on from my Times Square piece earlier this year. For this artwork, I decided to use every vintage colour ribbon I’ve collected since 2021.

The up-close shot above reveals some of my hidden typed messages and details.

As a child, I was captivated by Where’s Waldo and this piece definitely takes inspiration from the dense, character-filled worlds of Martin Hanford’s work. However, instead of capturing the hustle and bustle of downtown city scenes which is my comfort zone, I wanted to turn my focus towards people; the small moments of joy and community that fill Central Park in winter.

As with all my works, this piece is packed with at least a hundred hidden typed messages for you to discover. A few examples are:

Historical facts about Central Park such as the fact that it’s home to over 25,000 trees.

There are also hidden typed details about the artwork itself such as “it took 3 weeks to type.” (when I typed this, I still spent an extra week perfecting the details)

And, of course, some more playful inclusions like “I glide on my butt,” which reflects exactly how my own skating skills would fare on ice. I am 6ft 4 and have no balance… whatsoever.

When Will This Be Available as a Print?

Print Drop Ends: Wednesday, December 10th at 12:00 midday GMT

As a subscriber, you are getting early access to this brand new limited edition print one day ahead of its public release. This edition is limited to just 400 prints and is available in four sizes. Each print comes with a certificate of authenticity.
