A Personal Connection to Italy

This artwork holds a special place in my heart. My first-ever holiday, back in November 2001, was to Pisa when I was just five. While we couldn’t climb the tower (my mum was nine months pregnant with my twin siblings!), the trip left a lasting impression. One memory, captured on my dad’s camcorder, still makes me smile; a leaning waste bin in Cathedral Square, humorously echoing the tower’s famous tilt. Exciting news! My latest typewriter artwork has just gone live on Instagram, and I’m celebrating with a competition giveaway. This time, I’ve taken on one of medieval Europe’s most iconic landmarks…the Leaning Tower of Pisa.
